World Heritage Day at Saltaire Festival

The George Pickersgill team were delighted to take part at the Heritage Festival in Saltaire on Saturday 22 April 2023.

Saltaire’s Heritage Festival included a series of day and evening events held within the grounds of Roberts Park, just round the corner from our Warehouse in Hirstwood Industrial Estate. The festival included lots of family friendly activities such as live music, street theatre, international food market, craft market, “Visualising Heritage: A Saltaire Trail”, and a lantern parade with fire finale.

Just for the special occasion, we brought to the festival the 1952 Jowett Pickersgill Removals van.

Furthermore, we hosted our first Pickersgill competition #Packedlikeapro where participants took on the challenge to fill the storage container up with items as fast as they could. The winners being the Belgraves, taking home with them a £50 Amazon voucher.
