George Pickersgill Timeline

1893 - George marries Elizabeth
One of the earliest records of George Pickersgill, original owner of our Company, is his marriage certificate to his wife Elizabeth.

First printed advert offering removal services around the Bradford district.

1914 - Support from the homefront
Pickersgill removal carts were used to support the army in world war I. George and his brother also joined the forces and played their role in Britain's victory.

1940 - 40th Anniversary
Local newspaper advert celebrating the Company's 40th Anniversary and expert removal services.
1965 - New fleet
Two vehicles enter the Pickersgill fleet, one complete with branding
1983 - Rebrand takes place
Pickersgill receives a brand refresh, giving the company a modern 1980's look. The fleet now has grown to include 11 vehicles
1994 - New owners take over Pickersgill
The Mullarkey family takes over the Company and continues to uphold the Pickersgill legacy (the company has officially been operating for 100 years).
1997 - Warehouse moves to Shipley
To grow the storage facility and business, the company moves to Shipley, taking over 12,000 square foot warehousing unit.
2004 - Hendrik joins the leadership team
Hendrik Moulds takes on the role as director swiftly becoming a driving force at Pickersgill.
2017 - A new managing director, takes the helm
Ciaran joins the leadership team, ready to lead the company.
2022 - Pickersgill is relauched!
A full brand refresh takes place, introducing a slick new logo, new vans and launch of our new website
